Phoenix Blood Geyser Soul

Interview with Tempest(T) during evaluation, Meny march 897
Interviewer Doctor Lana Derville (LD)

LD: Welcome Tempest, this...
T: My name is Phoenix Blood, I don't use Tempest since I came here.
LD: Allright Tem...erhm Phoenix Blood. Welcome to this Interview. We're here to establish what would be best for you after this year.
T: Thankyou Miss Derville.
LD: Why do you want to specialize in Investigation/Interrogation?
T: I like finding things.
LD: What things?
T: Secret things, knowledge, solving mysteries, I like to beat the bad guy when it comes to solving puzzles.
LD: Right. You're very strong in close combat and your beast gives you an advantage, why don't you pursue your ebb?
T: I do, but my dad taught me not to rely entirely on my ebb and like my mom I want to evolve both mind and body into something greater. And I think I've learned what i need to handle myself in close combat.
LD: Your father is Brainwaster...Geyser?
T: Yes
LD: And your mother is Ebon...Phoenix is that correct?
T: Yes
LD: How do you feel about your parents being so different?
T: Is this a trick question? My parents are not different.
LD: Right...Most people would say that the temper of a Brainwaster....
T: Listen lady, my parents were brilliant, their temper was brilliant and I'm the product of a perfect union so don't go there.
LD: *cough* erhm...where were we? You suffer from migraine? And... you've had a cerebral hemorrhage some years ago, these two things are connected?
T: *sighs* Yes, I OD'ed on Pineal Stim when I was 8 because I wanted to develop my ebb like my parents. They'd both told me that it'd have to wait 'till I joined SLA as an operative, but I couldn't wait. Typical kid behaviour don't you think?
LD: erhm..yes...your parents... your father is dead, killed in a Thresher assault, and your mother is in an instituion for mentally ill people, how do you feel about that?
T: Are you stupid?
LD: Excuse me?
T: I said: Are...You...Stupid?
LD: erhm, no I wouldn't exactly say that Temp...Phoenix. I would just like for you to tell me in your own words how you feel about it.
T: ...
LD: ...
T: erhm...ok... right after my dad died I was very angry, I didn't think it was fair that he died. He was the best! But later, after talking a lot to my mom I realized that was what I wanted too - not to die I mean - but to be the best. I want to be a Nec.
LD: Necanthrope?
T: That's what I said wasn't it?
LD: But...
T: I wasn't done answering your first question!
LD: Go on
T: Thankyou Miss Derville. Both my parents are of little use to me now. I keep them in my heart and mind and can only hope that I'll ever reach their level. I know they both strived to become necs and I'll repay them by becoming one. Dark Night and Thresher took my parents I think they should've killed me too.
LD: Phoenix I think you would make an excellent Business operative, You've got a head for numbers and diplomacy and you're growing up to become an attractive girl, would you...
T:No! Forget it! I want investigation, I want knowledge. Business might open some doors, but this is what I want. If you wont recommend me I'll find someone who will.
LD: Are you threatening me?
T: No I'm just telling you the facts; I'm Geysers daughter, he still have friends out there. They will help me if I ask.
LD: ...
T: ...
LD: *sigh* All right.. Phoenix Blood, I'm going to recommend you to investigation/interrogation, don't disappoint me!
T: Thank you Miss Derville, it's been a pleasure.

First sighting...part 1

January 24th 899:
We all met up in the BPN hall, Slayers Crib, to try again. Sean, Greg and Blue had had a nice easy BPN on the wall, Jack and Allan had been at home and my face was still a bit sore from the fight I'd been in yesterday.
Apparently we looked like a bunch of suckers; a couple of Brainwasters thought Sean would be an easy target so they started picking on him. Much to my surprise he managed to keep his anger under control and they soon left to find other targets. Not much later a couple of Frothers figured they were part of our team so they'd wait in line with us. We told them to go screw someones dog and that sent one of them into a rage that quickly stopped as the surveilance "painted" him - nice to see it actually works!
We got our BPN - another Blue one, this time from LAD - whoopie! We're to sign up with Lawrence in sector 7 upper Downtown. Lawrence tells us that we're to be standby on the dropships that pick up dead people, but he doesn't need us right now so he tells us to go get something to eat so we're ready for some running.
As we sit and drink coffee and talk about the bad luck we had with our first BPN we all notice that something is different with Blue. He's not as talkative as he was the first couple of days and it is as if there are things he need to be told again. I've heard of chem-cocktails that make you forget things but I've also heard of brain-scrubs, I know my old man had at least one, and I'm guessing they scrubbed Blue!
We return to Lawrence and he gives us some brief instructions on what our assignment is; we're to wait by the LAD dropship ready to go where-ever and kick ass on what-ever to save who-ever. And then we have to be careful that no Karma guys are hurt in the process - right!
The assignment is nearly over when we get an emergency, we pick up all our stuff and jump aboard the dropship - those pilots are total psychoes! We're thrown off in Lower Down Town Sector 777 - suck! As we leave the ship someone's shooting at us and the doctor offcourse. We run to get behind crumbled walls and piles of garbage to get cover from the bullets but we have no time to retaliate, we're really in a hurry. When we reach one of the guys there's little we can do; he's being eaten by 3 carriens and as we appear 5 carriens come out of the piles surrounding the area...great! They manage to deal some nasty wounds among the team before we manage to kill them and then we hurry on to get the rest of this guys team.
As we run through a rather open area we're being fired upon again. This time there's no ignoring it as the doctor is hit and we need him very much alive. Blue and Greg return fire and the sniper shoots Greg in the head - luckily with rather small calibered bullets so his helm takes most of the hit. Blue throws himself on top of Greg to shield him and as G'rr and Jack sprints to the building with the doctor, Blue, Greg, Sean and I draw fire and try to keep the sniper occupied.
When the sniper discovers that we've got people in the building he quickly withdraw. I cover the rest of the team (I'm the only one who hasn't been hurt) while they run to the building and as I prepare to run I see a very strange green flash from a window on the floor where the sniper was. Now what?!
I run as fast as I can to catch up with the rest of the team and as I reach the building i get a very panicky call from the team - they've got something I need to see...

Our first BPN. Part 4

We were sent to "Blue Haven" (a Karma Fascility) to get a check up after this little incident. Since no-one knew what drugs we'd been submitted to we got a full healthcheck, detox and scan. They found bugs in both Sean and me they were carefully removed offcourse. Allan was still missing an arm and Sean was missing an eye. They'd found our deathsuits in the building and I don't know what they'd done to them, it was obvious that my suit was confused or scared, so I guess a bit of relaxation is important now.
When we were all waiting for out healthcheck to be cleared some Karmadude showed up - he'd probably sell an arm and an eye... As it turns out he had some papers for us to sign. Since it was LADs dropship that'd gone missing (and that wasn't our fault!) they're partly responsible for the loss of all our stuff. But they had a deal for us that we couldn't refuse... They'd pay for Allans arm, Seans eye and pay for all the equipment we'd lost if only we'd sign the papers. Allan read them through and informed us that the papers cleared LAD of all responsibility of our little "adventure". Being right out of Meny with no BPNs behind us (except this one that we just failed!!!) and therefore no money we had no option but to sign. And friendly as they are; LAD even made accounts for the team with 500C on each - I cannot believe how lucky we are.
It was a pretty strange experience to leave the fascilities, we'd gotten replacements for all our lost stuff, we had no money to speak of and we'd just dropped 0,1 SCL - shiver here I come.
We talked a bit about what to do next, Allan and Jack wanted to go home to their families and I wanted to go drink this experience away but the rest wanted to get a BPN as soon as possible (Greg was on his last UVs and Sean and Blue was just short on bullets or whatever...) So they went for a BPN (wallmaintenance) while I stopped at The Pit to get pissed and get my ass kicked by 2 random operatives.
A very strange conclusion to our first BPN!

Allan White Freeman

AAA Business guy...

Born and raised in Suburbia, with a dictatorial mother, a henpecked father, and an older sister who shot herself at the age of ten. His mother always sheltered him from the harsh world of SLA, litterally. Whenever the TV channels were broadcasting footage with a violent or sexual content, his mother would personally cover his eyes. His mother always blamed rivalising companies for all the bad stuff in society. Everything was their fault: streetcrime, narcotics, real estate prizes, bad food quality, the rain, everything.
His mother always made plenty of food, and you had to eat up; otherwise a Thresher Sarge would evnetually drop down your block. Because of the food, and total lack of exercise, Allan ended up becomming quite chubby.
As regards learning, school was really great, but in the recess Allan would either hide or sell half his oversized lunchpackage for protection. His mother allways gave his father strictly orders to drive Allan all the way to the front door. During the drive his father would tell crazy fairytales of the time when he rampaged warworlds. This would be the only time that Allans' father even dared to open his mouth.
When the mother turned 30 Allan wanted to give her a present which could prove his love for her. He sneaked out at nigth and found a tatooist. Here he got a heart with “mother” drawn on his arm. Eventhough he had made a cake and decorated the house with flags, his mother completely freaked out when she saw the tatoo. Allan was grounded for a year and Allans' dad got beat up. This year he spent playing SLA-station and reading websites about SLA Industries and its rivals.
One day Allan found a SLA operative entrance examination. He fullfiled the test mostly for fun, but was however admitted. He knew his mother would never aprove letting him become an operative, so he made her believe that he was going to work at grandpas' old office. He actually meant to tell her when he had finished his training as an operative, but she was so proud of her son, so he didn´t want to break her illusions.

Allans' interactions towards the rest of the squad:
Blue: A true Karma wonder; deadly effiecient, deadly scary, all in all deadly
Phoenix Blood: Resolute, protective, and with razor sharp claws; kinda like mum
Jack: First-rate SLA Op. – If there were only more of his calibre (and with his calibre), I would be able to sleep better at night
Sean: Dangerous and unpredictable; like a bomb

A note from the GM.

Welcome to my world.

I’m a 31 year old male. Been a master for half my life and have had the pleasure of this team for some months now. Before this we played DND. (3.0)
It’s like this: NO ONE plays SLA with me before they are 18. I use graphic violence, drugs and bumping uglies. I keep nothing back and expect everyone to do the same. This is ugly when it’s the best. Nothing like 12.7 and UV to keep you going. That was the fun part.

2 things rule my game. Rules for keeping “you” sane and me breaking rules for keeping you unbalanced. Stories are written in reverse. Meaning: It has already happened. You are playing a situation that already has played out! More? Ok. There would not be a story about a team like the one you are reading about if not something extraordinary happens. That said. It’s always about “them.” Often it feels like they are someone who is looking at it all happening before them. In the end when all the treads are strung and all the plots have been solved. The masterpiece comes to its fulfilment and the players role is revealed. There is my game. If every one thought that it would be a walk in the park… Well who would bother? I keep ‘em running and screaming as much as possible. I’m not saying that I’m some kind of a brilliant master or that I know what I’m doing. I’m too lazy for that. I AM SAYING: “I try.”

I’m forgetting something… Oh… my name… sorry. I always forget that one. I’m Hans. My online handle (at the moment) is truefear. (Go figure) you can call me whatever you find fitting for this place.

Now that Fuzzy has taken my “mittens” off, I will try to answer some of your questions. Do not ask about spoilers. I will not ruin the game for the players (who will be reading this… lol). I will not write you (e-mail or otherwise). This is fuzzies Blog and I’m only here as a guest.

Last: Love your interest in AAA adventures. I'll look into your questions after this is posted.

Our first BPN. Part 3

When I came to myself everything was bright white. My arms and legs were strapped to the bed, my suit was nowhere in sight and my head was spinning. I slowly realized that I was in a hospital and when I looked around i could tell that most of the team was here too. A nurse came in and when she saw I was awake she came to my bed checked my pulse and asked if i wanted anything. I asked why I was here and she told me the doctor would talk to me later and then she gave me a shot of something.
I slept.
I awoke to the sound of Sean yelling. the nurse was trying to calm him down and I got a glimpse of the temper of a real Brainwaster - Go Sean! I could tell that the other had heard him too for there was a lot of groaning and stretching. Allan discovered that his arm was still missing and as he started whimpering the nurse gave Sean a shot and quickly proceeded to Allan. As she discovered the rest of us were getting more agitated she quickly adjusted our IV drops and soon I slept again.
I drifted in and out of sleep during the next couple of...? hours? days? I sometimes heard the others complain and sometimes I heard myself ask to talk to a doctor. Everytime I got the same response "the doctor will talk to you soon" and then i got a new shot of whatever drug. I quickly figured out that I had to stop asking to see a doctor (since it always triggered more drugs) and as my head cleared a bit i noticed that Allan was still missing an arm, and that the nurses were strangely alike(and all called "Betty"), there was no buzzing from a TV, no one had come to see us (except the nurses) and judging from the smell we hadn't seen a bath for a couple of days.
As it dawned on all of us that something was wrong we figured we'd have to do something fast or we'd just be forgotten here in this horrible place. Blue was not with us, but the rest of the team was here. G'rr tested how strong our restraints were - judging from his face even Blue would be in trouble if he'd have to get out of this. Sean was in total frenzy and tried to wriggle out of the straps but only result was alarming the nurse who came running with a shot for the rebellious 'waster. Nurse Betty looked around at the rest of us and we all put up or most innocent faces - to no avail - shots for everyone :(
When I awoke again I could hear Allan whimpering and a low murmur from G'rr. Allan was, with his missing arm, the only one who had a small chance of getting out of the straps, so G'rr was trying to convince him to try and break free. It took a lot of persuasion from all of us but finally Allan agreed to try and break free the next time Betty had been here.
So after Betty had been checking up on us, our little timid Allan wriggled and bit himself out of the restraints with much encouragment from the rest of us. Soon he was out and a few seconds later the entire team was ready to go - only problem; no guns, no armor, no drugs! And we had no idea where the heck we were and what would be out there.
So we decided to catch ourselves a nurse, maybe ask her a couple of questions, and then get the hell out. Sean called nurse Betty and as soon as she opened the door we jumped her to pin her down. What we hadn't expected was a psycho bitch with nasty closecombat skills. We tried to pacify her fast but we ended up accidentally killing her... I really hoped our intuition on this were right.
We looked at the dead nurse - this was bad... Blonde, blue eyes, puffy lips, pretty except for the hard lines around eyes and mouth, short white uniform, stay-ups - no panties!!! Kinky! This was definitely not your average nurse. We stripped her and I put on the uniform, it almost fit, and while the rest of the team waited I walked out into the hallway.
As soon as I entered the hall it was obvious this wasn't a real hospital. Everything was dirty and looked like it hadn't been used in ages. Down the hallway were cameras on both side and I decided to do something about that first. Since I had no resemblance with the nurses (obviously ebon, black hair no shoes) I had to act fast to avoid discovery - it might be possible that the other nurses would come look for the Betty we'd just killed. I killed the first camera and noticed that further down the hall was the nurses private room - I could hear voices and laughter. I quickly ran back to the other camera and pulled the plug. Further down this hall was a big firedoor with "exit" written above it. For a second I thought of taking a closer look but decided against it - there could be an alarm on it.
I ran back to the others and told them what I'd seen and heard and as we stood there arguing what to do, another Betty entered the room. She spotted the dead, naked Betty on the floor and imediately went for her alarm. In the pure chaos that followed we killed her too and as the boys ran out the door and down the hallway I stashed the Bettys behind a bed and followed.
In the hallway we checked all the rooms and it was the same everywhere; dark, dirty, small rooms filled with loads of junk. We walked past a large glass window; in the room behind we could see a man sitting on the floor in a pile of dirt. He was muttering to himself, making angry gestures now and then - we hurried down to the nurses room.
We barged through the dor G'rr, Sean and Greg first. And in no-time the two women were on the floor dead. Allan, Jack and I stared at the TV wall in the middle of the room - what was this?
While the others found some stunbattons and other nifty clubs in the lockers, Allan and I looked at the screens. As far as we could tell from theese images we were somewhere in the middle of a subversive (Dark Night?) stronghold in DownTown. We were on the 7th or 8th basement floor and we'd have to pass several armed guards and random followers to even get off the next floor - this would fit nicely into the bad things cathegory!
We were pretty much fucked without any weapons or armor, Sean and I started to feel the need for our suits and we were still influenced by whatever drugs were in our IVs'.
The team was on the verge of breaking because of our vulnerable position and our discussion was turning into a childish argument when we finally agreed on sending Sean and G'rr out to search this floor for weapons, drugs and whatever might be handy. The rest of us watched the screens, scanning for any clues on where we were while the two stealthy guys ran down the halls of the dark hospital.
Finally they came back and with them they had a monarch. They'd encountered this scumbag (Bones) while he was having a good time with 2 Bettys. Sean and G'rr had killed the Bettys and pacified Bones - he was going to get us out! Sean was bleeding from his eye as one of the Bettys had punctured it with a stilletto.
We punched Bones around untill he agreed to tell us a little about what he was doing here. Apparently he didn't know anything about what was going on and he was willing to sell anybody to get out of this mess. I didn't really care how much he knew, I just wanted to get out - fast!
So we took his phone and I called Central who punched me through to Azer. He was extremely angry that we had messed up this nice little BPN he'd bought for us - I wasn't really in the mood for chatting so I told him to shut up and get his thumb out of his ass - this was important. It shut him up long enough for me to ask him to come and get us out of this DN stronghold before we were discovered. I could hear him moving really fast and yelling orders at some people around him, then he told me to keep the phoneline open and he'd find us. I told him that the monarch had given us a sector number but I wasn't sure if I could trust it. Azer wasn't worried he'd find us.
I kept the phoneline open and while we waited for the cavalry we followed anything that happened in the building on the tv screens. It didn't take many minutes before the upper floors of the building was swarming with SLA operatives and Shivers. Finally Azer opened the door to the nurses room and behind him some rough looking troops - we were getting out!

Later Azer told us that we had been reported missing after our last assignment. Apparently we had all been wounded so the medics had picked us up to get us into quarantine and get some medical treatment when the transporter had disappeared. Blue had been on his way to Karma with a different transport since he'd been sliced to shreds. They'd looked everywhere for us but we were simply gone and we'd been gone for 5 days when we suddenly called out of nowhere.
He asked us if we knew a serialkiller named Whistler since he apparently was the one responsible for this hole mess - that was a negative from all of us. We'd only been a team for a couple of days and already a serialkiller had taken notice of us. This could be good or really, really bad!

Our first BPN. Part 2

January 17th 899:
Wake up, out of bed, out of the door - lets go! We're all here on time - Yay! Marketday. Allan parked the Augustus and then we headed out to meet "the people". Allan stayed by the car to make sure nothing happened to it and Sean headed out to find someplace where he could get a nice clear view of the area.

OMG! We're in trouble, this is impossible! A billion-billion people and only our rookie team to keep everything under control. How are we supposed to observe and show ourselves when we drown in people? And this is just first group? Stupid BPN be more funny!
During first shift everything is just fine but then when second group is on it's way to the area and the first group is leaving everything goes wrong. Some guy suddenly freaks out, he's aggresive and violent, yells and spit at people and is generally being a total pain in the ass. The shivers spot him and moves in to pacify him. There's too many people and too little visibility and suddenly it seems as if the shivers are using a bit of excessive force. More people join the fray and as we move into the crowd we can tell that the mood has changed. Blue picks up the first agressor and the shivers tries to get everyone to calm down and clear out. But the situation is already way out of control, apparently the rage is contagious, the slightest touch by an agressor sets it off. I try to reach Blue to get him out of the crowd and get rid of our first victim - but too late! Our huge prototype stormer variant chagrin is starting too look very strange and I can already picture the headlines this will make!
I yell at Blue to move out of the crowd and back to the car. I can see he's fighting for control and he keeps repeating the same line over and over ''I'm contaminated". As i keep on telling Blue to move back to the car I call Winthers; this is already totally out of control since the shivers are now pounding people to bloody pulp. G'rr lets out a warcry and starts plowing through people with his scythe I need to get out fast! If I let the beast out now...…
Greg orders Blue to the car and as I talk to Winthers and tell him what I want - NOW - I can see the huge stormer walk through the crowd towards the car. Luckily Sean is in place above all this and there's little chance that whatever it is that makes people freak will get to him. Winthers assures me that he'll send in the smart guys and not the gun guys and promise that they'll be there fast. I'm afraid it isn't fast enough!
Suddenly there's a huge creaking noise and the wheel from the huge Ferris wheel comes off with a very loud noise. I feel like crying! This turns the market into a total and complete warzone! There's blood and bodyparts everywhere and the tent above us starts to fall letting enormous amounts of water rush in over the crowd - so much for a nice quit BPN for starters!
I turn off the brain and let the beast out - to hell with everything I'm leaving!
As i get out from the area I see Greg and Blue at each others throats. Allan is on the ground, his arm is missing and I notice it hanging from a fence 25 feet down the street. After plunging a kickstart in his chest I turn to face the stormer and the frother, someones been bad...…

Our first BPN. Part 1

January 16th 899:
Slayers Crib – 5 in the morning. No one is late – amazing – not even the Brainwaster.… we’re looking at 2 hours waiting just to get in *sigh*. We decided to go for 3rd Eye News Hall instead. Tons of people there too but we gave it a try anyway. We also discovered how they keep people in line there. Any aggressive behaviour is stopped on the spot by heavily armed guards and automatic weaponsystems – one warning and then it’s out – for good! Hope that guy over there has LAD :)
After waiting.. and waiting… and waiting… we finally got our blue BPN. YAY! An open BPN in suburbia – 50C a day for the team. Apparantly an easy assignment…
We reported to Sgt Winthers (chief of the sector) in 317 suburbia and he informed us of our assignment. A factory is celebraiting their anniversary so there might be sometrouble in the area. Wheelarc (another operative team) is in sector 320 – so if we get in over our heads they’re ready to jump in. We’re just supposed to show ourselves and try to keep everybody in line.
We had a brief talk in the team and decided to go look at the factory. It’s a kind of creepy place, strangely unreal… We walked down the street to get an impression of the area, but suddenly Blue was hit in the shoulder by a light weapon – huh?
It was easy to figure out where the gunshot came from and I ran for the building with G’rr Ch’ld right behind me.
Sean showed off and folded into the building and we didn’t hear from him untill I asked for status from the team. What he said didn’t make much sense (glowing thing with 8 arms and tentacles?!!) but it was good to hear that he hadn’t been off’ed – yet!. Blue and G’rr Ch’ld ran past me seconds ago and soon I heard serious loud noise from upstairs. Damn I hate my short legs – it felt like running in slow motion compared to the rest... I dived into the hall – tried to adjust my sight – aim… Blue and G’rr are in my way – damn closecombat guys…
I spot their opponent down the hall WTF!? What is that thing? … I browse my brain for knowledge of shiny things with tentacles – dam it -Tek Trex! The drone totally rips G’rr apart and Blue moves in to take some of the heat. Sean is nowhere to be seen and I wonder if the thing has thrown him out of the window.
Suddenly the thing shuts down with a rather strange sound and we manage to panic because none of us is sure what it does. So the team runs for the door except me – I’m still going through my library of Tek Trex knowledge and calling in shivers. So I wait at the end of the hall keeping an eye on the drone. Out of nowhere a Tek Trex doctor shows up, grabs the drone and start walking away. I shoot him with little effect and then he just walks away. I call the team and all of them run up the stairs again – I already love my job! As they arrive we follow the doctor through hallways and rooms – and then he’s gone. Sean and G’rr run to the roof and we run downstairs.
After a few minutes the shivers arrives and we call in some airsupport but the doctor is gone. Sean tells about he’s insane stunt where he jumped out the window to hide from the doctor and then folded to somewhere 6 feet of the ground – crazy Brainwaster!
We have no luck finding the Doc so after several hours of searching we let the shivers do the rest and head home to get some sleep.

Offgame notes...

I've decided that sometimes a little explaining or update is in order - especially for those people who are kind enough to comment on our adventures (you know who you are - Thank you!)
So from now on all off-game comments are written in another color than the rest of the Blog. If any of you are colorblind I'm sorry!
Just posting this to let you know that I'm still working on the translation. I've just decided that I'll do a lot of cutting from the original material or I'll never finish this. Hopefully I'll be able to post a few BPNs before long - or at least post some of the things that has been really important to the team.
And if I'm really lucky some of the other players will translate a few notes about themselves and maybe tell their version of the story - this could be real fun! :)
Anyways - back to you Phoenix Blood...

In my room...

Bellamie Asylum 899, date: unknown
As I'm walking from one end of the cell to the other, avoiding to look at the clock above the door, I can't help but wonder how we got into such a mess. I'm fairly certain that the surviving Necs from "the Dragons" must have something to do with this. And since they're back under SLA's protective wings we can't do anything about it, they can mess up our lives until we die. Only possibilities - as I see it - is trying to get them to Orienta again - they might have an accident! Or we'll have to follow the rules to the letter, no bending or stretching - we'll have to be a textbook example, give them no chance of pinning us on anything. Yeah right as if that'll ever happen!

Here I have lots of time to think about what has happened so far. I think about how I met the others, how AAA came into being. Somethings I can't remember that clearly - other incidents are very much alive for me. I want to remember everything I've done so far - even the bad things...
It all began January 15th 899:
I was standing on the station trying to figure out what to do next. The train from Meny was just in and 20.000 confused and newly trained operatives were trying to figure out where to go and what to do. I really had no choice, seconds ago I'd gotten a message from some guy named Azer. He introduced himself as my monitor and asked me to come to his office ASAP where I'd be introduced to my team - funny I don't remember signing up for a team anywhere?!
Azer (weird guy) asked us to take care of ourselves and not get killed during the first couple of weeks. He asked us to do our jobs and not make any trouble for him or ourselves! While he talked I looked at my new teammates: human, human, frother, shaktar, brainwaster (all male as far as I can tell) and a stormer but different from any other stormer I've ever seen. We're told that our team has been decided by a very advanced program to create a team suitable to help the new stormer variant chagrin to find its place in the World of Progress. The stormer is 1 out of 5 chagrin to pass the tests at Orange. He was introduced to us as Blue. The shaktar is G'rrCh'ld, the Brainwaster is Sean, the frother is Greg and the humans are Jack and Allan - all male.
We decided to go get something to eat and talk a bit about individual training and what to expect from our first assignments. We all agreed that we'd try to get something "easy" for our first BPN; since none of us knew eachother we had no way of knowing how this team would work. And we certainly didn't know what to expect from Blue. We'd all seen the commercials on TV about the new stormer variants that'd be implemented next year - but none of us had expected to actually have one in our team - ever!

We f***** up!!! part 6

We we're all a bit skeptical about Taggart and his last message, but we decided to go have a look after all - if he wanted to win by being a bitch so be it.
We met him - and he wore a god damn power armor - modified with who knows what, and a heavy weapon with 17 mm slugs - he would've painted the area with our team!!! He told us that something had gone wrong when the medic team moved in to pick up Sean, Star and Cross. Apparently Star had gone totally insane and had ripped everybody apart, skinned them and torn them to pieces - except Sean. It was still possible for LAD to save him but we had little time. Taggart showed us some footage Star had sent him and we were all horrified to see how Star had chained Sean to the ceiling upside down - like bait in a mouse trap!
Taggart asked us to get Sean and then he'd try to keep Star busy.
Jack, Allan and I ran for the building we recognized from the footage and Blue covered our back - I was so scared that not even UV could keep my hair from standing on end - what the hell had been in the bullets Sarin had used on Star?
As we arrived at the building there was no one there - except the sad remains of a medic team. I sprinted (with my damn short legs) to the building, counting on the rest of the team to cover me while I recovered the Brainwaster. After all I was the only one with a full set of armor and the physique to fight hand to hand with an unknown enemy. There was a loud guttural roar and then the sound of something huge and very heavy moving through the area. There was the sound of rattling chains and then I could see Sean falling to the ground - I pushed everything in my body to the limits - I was going to get him out of there in one piece!
Suddenly Star appeared next to me - maybe 10 paces away and both Jack and Allan shouted a warning at me - one I chose to ignore, if Sarin had used the bullets and turned Star into the freak in front of me I was partly to blame.
Star... what can I say? There's no explaining what he had become. Everywhere on him large green pussfilled lumps of flesh had grown. Where he had been wounded the growth were extreme, we could almost see him growing as he ran to intercept me. He hit me square in the chest with his arm as Allan, Jack, Blue and Taggart fired at him. It was like being hit with a Stormer 313. His arm was the size of a small house and i could see that he had put javelins through his arm making the flesh grow and grow around the already large arm. I flew through the air trying to avoid breaking something when I landed, I could hear the sound of some very heavy weapons being fired. I kept low trying to keep out of harms way. I could hear the others cursing and moaning and as I looked up I could see Star tumbling forwards while new lumps of flesh sprouted from his bullet wounds - he just kept getting bigger and bigger.
Taggart cursed, switched to auto-fire and told everyone to hit the deck - we did! The noise was indescribeable and bulletcasings rained on the floor. Taggarts armor was slowly pushed back by the force of his riffle, even though he had spiked it to the ground. I looked in horror as the thing that had been Star were hit by numerous 17mm rounds as if it were bullets from a childs toy... And everywhere new flesh grew from the body, making our opponent bigger and bigger.
I crawled as fast as I could to the place where Sean was, as long as Taggart kept shooting, it wouldn't go for the rest of us - I hoped. I grabbed Sean - head and ass - flung him over my shoulder and ran for the exit. Allan, Jack and Blue was right behind me trying to get a clear way out.
As we ran, Allan suggested that Star was infected with the food virus, the one we prevented DN from stealing from McVay. We were not quite sure of how the virus worked, but it was supposed to grow infinite amounts of food out of already existing tissue - I guess human flesh would fit into the food category?yuk!
We jumped into the waiting car and sped to the nearest LAD fascility, we had no idea what we were gonna say, but Sean needed help and at the moment none of us wanted to think about the consequenses of this.

Maybe we should've given this more thought for as we arrived at Karma the guys in the black armors, the heavy guns and the Dark Finders logo were waiting for us. The friendly Karma guys in white coats grabbed Sean (Sarin was already there) and the not so friendly guys in black armor escorted us to different locations for a small chat - I really wished I'd stayed in bed this morning!
They asked about everything - apparently everything I've done since first day out of school has been illegal and against SLA regulations. Our team has supported a soft company, we've killed 4 (!!!) Necs, I've stolen a relic (my husbands dagger), we've kept things to ourselves that should've been reported (the stolen Augustus, Orienta, Whisper), we've influenced Karma property to commit subversive acts (Blue and Red) and they're not completely certain of our loyalty as we have been involved with DN for quite a number of times. No amounts of begging, crying, shouting, cursing or swearing would make these guys believe anything I said, and after a while - I'm not proud of this - I just decided to spill the beans. I told everything! GanNing left the dagger and I just prayed that they wouldn't pick up on it, I don't really think they cared, it was just another thing to put me up on.
When the "interview" was over I was finished. The way everything had been portrayed I knew we were in deep shit - termination was a possibility for all of us! We were left with two options: we could sign a release form - it would effectively be the same as a termination considering the enemies we've made. Or we could go through 6 months of rehab in "Bellamie Asylum" and then maybe continue our carreer as SLA operatives. I must admit that for a second I considered the release form and then take my chances maybe try to get back to Orienta. But the rest of the team would most likely end up in a rubber cell and I wouldn't be able to help them in any way.
So there really was no choice... AAA signed up for 6 months of mindfuck...

We f***** up!!! Part 5

Well as we stood in the middle of a large puddle of blood (Jack looked like something out of Slaughterhouse Six) Blue suggested that we take a break and talk a bit about strategy as we were all rather tired and beat. Both Sarin, Blue and Jack were messed up and both Blue and Jack were wearing almost non-existing armors. Once again I thanked whatever gods were listening, for my ebbsuit, it had saved my ass more than once today!
We found a place were we could sit down and relax for a couple of minutes - get something to eat and drink while we talked about the last two opponents we were to face. We were pretty sure that one of them was Taggart (the bastard) and we still hadn't encountered the silverback. We were also pretty convinced that one of them were a guy in a heavy powerarmour with some serious heavy weapon - as if the guy with the 12.7 minigun wasn't using serious heavyweapons :(
As we looked at our weapons we knew we had a snowballs chance in hell to pull this one off! Blue suggested that we tried to catch silverback and beat him senseless or at least punch him in the face until he agreed to tell us how his automated weaponssystem worked. Once in our control we'd use the autoguns to peal the armor from "Mr heavy weapons & armor" and then take him down with a well-assorted bunch of punches to the head! (I really, really hope that Silverback is Taggart - I'd so much love to break his face)
We went hunting for the Silverback. Sarin was front as usual, his tracking abilities much better than the rest of us. We found the perfect hideout for the scout/assassin type in Silverback and decided to see if we could find some clues as to where the guy was hiding. We were standing in a room with a pit approximately 25 feet deep and as we stand there staring down this hole we realize something is "off". We all look up at about the same time and discover that the shaft continues over our heads but it disappears into darkness. Sarin pulls out the motiontracker and after a few seconds he pulls his gun out and shoot up through the shaft. Jack quickly pulls his gun out and sprays the ceiling as Sarin with help from Blue jumps up through the shaft. The rest of us stare at the dark spot on the ceiling unable to tell what's going on. Suddenly there's a loud cry from Sarin, and the Silverback comes floating down with a Blitzer in each hand. He pulls the triggers as soon as he sees us and both Allan and I are hit - this might hurt a bit!
Suddenly Sarin comes diving out of the ceiling, obviously trying to hit Mr Silverback he tries to get him down. What our scout had forgotten was the rather large drop from the platform we're standing on to the bottom of this pit - as Sarin dives past Silverback we all stare in horror as he continues his fall to the bottom of the pit. We quickly pull ourselves together and tries to get our opponent within reach. When he decides to shoot at Jack we all know this was a mistake and surely enough - Jack shoots the guy twice and blasts him into oblivion - So much for that plan...
We're all rather shocked about Sarin - and as we stand there staring at his broken body on the bottom of the pit I know I'll take this out on Taggart - even though both Sarin and Sean will be OK again (I Hope) I can't help but feel he screwed us over...
As we're asked to leave the area for the sake of the medic team we were called by Taggart. He asked us to meet him - there'd been an incident. The tone in his voice left no room for doubt - something had happened.

A small note

Sunday our GM decided to make a small Halloween special - he didn't tell us about it though. So when our worst nightmares started showing up in our cells torturing us to death, and have us wake up in the white - still dead - we were ready for some real psychobabble. On top of it all the 10 serialkillers (one of them only named W. L.) were out of their cells and had somehow gained access to their equipment.
We were dragged through the sightseeing tour of The White by the lokal touristguide Mr Walker(minus Allan who'd had a close encounter with W. L. wearing a pumpkin head...)
We were all kinda baffled by this but we were not really suspicious since we were in a mental institution and something strange was bound to happen!
When we stepped out of The White it was beautiful; all of us had changed into the beast we really are inside and we were ready to fight for Mr Slayer and kick Bitterness in the face.
But monday morning we all received an e-mail from the GM "Best wishes and hope you enjoyed the Halloween special! Oh and you've got evaluation with your shrink next sunday!"

We f***** up!!! part 4

As I stared in disbelief on our stormer the rest of the team was packing up and ready to leave. Blue looked at me with a strangely familiar look in his eyes and then he fell to his knee. I grabbed his arm and Jack took his other arm and while running i poured 2 or 3 proteine drinks in him - what the heck was going on? I'm absolutely sure he was hit by at least 3 bullets (12.7) from the minigun before hitting the water - the spear had taken most of his chest - and he had been hit under water too. My brain was working overtime but the UV in my blood made it impossible to think straigth. Blue grinned at me and pulled his arms out of my grip and then he ran after the rest. Jack and I looked at each other and then we decided it was better not to say anything. I guess prototype stormers are different from the rest?
We decided to get above ground again - actually we had no choice - but it sounds better when I'm saying it like this.
Sarin was front as usual and as he climbed up a narrow ladder he was hit - again! Another ambush - are SLA operatives that predictable? We decide that Blue climbs out first and then Sarin. Sarins skills as a scout is a hell of alot better than Blues but Blue is obviously impervious to hurt.
The rest of us wait with anticipation but in a couple of seconds they both come tumbling down the ladder - Sarin shot again. They both agree that there's something wrong with the way Sarin was shot but obviously we have to get moving and if we all scatter when we get above ground there's a bigger chance we won't all be shot. Right now we're guessing that the dude in the Silverback must be the one we're looking for so we have to just move our asses and hope for a little bit of luck as he is much more mobile than we are!
We throw ourself out of the sewer and run for nearest cover. I throw my self down next to Jack and spot movement on a roof nearby. Just as I turn to tell him bullets rip through that wall Blue was just standing next to and he dives for cover.
We just realise that it must be automatic weapons systems, sentury guns or something - as if we have a chance against that? We agreed to run for one of the demolished buildings to get better cover and maybe take out a gun or two.

We sprinted through rubble with bullets flying around us and as we reached the building Sarin took over again. he soon discovered at neatly set up trap with 2 sentury guns and with some beautiful circus shooting he took out both, making it possible for us to move this way through!
As we moved through the building - Sarin still in front and me right behind our stresslevels got another notch into the red area. The sniper guy had set up several sentury guns all of them with backup guns making it pretty hard to take them out.
As we stepped into a room we were attacked by a wraith raider. He had been standing against the wall waiting for all of us to get into the room - well he hadn't counted on my keen senses - hehe! I hit him with my Gash fist smack on the nose making him curse and gag but retaliate with a very accurate hit to my eye. Luckily I managed to turn my head enough to avoid him puncturing my eye :(
He jump ran past the rest of the team and sprinted down the narrow halls, Blue and Sarin on his tail... Jack and I looked at eachother - darn short legs! We hid behind a bend waiting for the others to catch the sneaky kitty. As we stood there we heard the sound of nasty... We just knew we were in trouble - none of the others would make it back in time and they were probably already too far away to hear normal fighting. Jack stepped out in front of the person coming around the corner and I tumbled to get around him - something I soon regretted. Our opponent (Mr Circle) was wearing an armor resembling the Dogeybone - slightly smaller but still rather intimidating in his hands were a huge scythe - practically too big to make any real good moves but large enough to make it almost impossible to geet past him. Jack pulled out his gun and fired two shots right in the chest of mr. scythe - it had an effect but the scythe cut some nasty holes in Jacks armor - I managed to get past the scythe and tried to jump the guys back pinning his arms and making it easier on Jack. He was extremely strong and I could hear the sound of Jack getting sliced (Mr Scythe apparently didn't care about the "not in the head - rule") but I could also hear scythe-guy getting seriously hurt by Jacks bullets. Finally I got a handhold on the guy and I pinned his arms to his side. Jack got a clear shot and took it - the guy spasmed and I rolled of him away from the scythe as he fell to the floor - Go Jack!
Blue and Sarin came back grinning - they'd really kicked the Wraith Raider (square) around. Blue had even thrown Sarin at a point making our kitty a tad annoyed - but he'd gotten his prey and made a nice example out of him - Square would probably need an entire new face after this.
4 down - 2 to go...
